Join us for a thanksgiving service of music and readings to celebrate the 250th birthday of this esteemed novelist.
Jane Austen was born in Steventon on 16th December 1775 and regularly worshipped at St Nicholas Church where her father, George, was Rector. The service will be led by Revd Canon Michael Kenning with an address by the Right Reverend Philip Mounstephen, Bishop of Winchester.
Music will be provided by Overton Benefice Choir, Steventon Singers and organist Paul Wright.
Due to the limited seating capacity in the tiny church, anyone wishing to attend will require a ticket. There is no charge and they are can be booked here!
