Village Hall

Steventon Village Hall was built in 1932 as a church room: the actual church, St Nicholas’ Church, is a mile outside the village.

In 1978 the hall was leased to the local Parish Council and it became the Village Hall. It is maintained and operated by a management committee, with the kitchen recently fully refurbished.

The Village Hall is well used by village groups, including Steventon Players’ pantomimes, quizzes, film nights and the village rolling supper. The Steventon Singers practise there, and it is also used for the Christmas Fair, Christmas lunch for seniors and party for children, St Nicholas’ Church Harvest Supper and Breakfast Togethers, Parish Council meetings, plus monthly community Coffee and Cake, quarterly pub nights, and a couple of private art shows. Yoga and paracise classes are held during term time, and it is also used as a Polling Station and hired for private events. The village’s defibrillator is situated there.

If you wish to hire the hall for your party, or hire tables, chairs or the marquee, please contact Sally at steventonvillagehall.book@gmail.com.
