Now that the archaeological excavation in Pump Field has been completed, we’re delighted that Debbie Charlton has agreed to return to Steventon to give our village a private update as part of the Steventon Village Jane Austen 250th Anniversary Project.
Debbie’s talk will provide an exclusive end-of-dig summary of the preliminary findings from the 2026 excavation, including some of the fascinating discoveries made by her and the team.
