Breakfast Together on Saturday 26th October was indeed a very jolly time. Bacon baps, croissants and coffee were thoroughly enjoyed amongst much joyful chatter. Rev. James Russell, the new Priest in Charge, gave a very relaxed and informative talk about his early years, his family and faith. A very good way to start the weekend.

The film, ‘The Guernsey Literary & Potato Peel Pie Society’, definitely one to be recommended. Thank you Sue for organising this very enjoyable event once again. September ended with the most amazing concert at the Anvil on the evening of Sunday 30th. Basingstoke Festival of Choirs ‘Voices Together’ featured ten choirs and one children’s choir from St. Mary’s CE Junior school, also Vocal Point and the Heritage Light Orchestra. This fabulous evening brought together hundreds of enthusiastic singers of all ages.
